Peaks of the Balkans – Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro

Join 3e Travel for a unique trekking adventure in the Prokletije Mountains, shared by Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo.

The Peaks of the Balkans Trail is in the wild mountainous region of the Western Balkans, until twenty years ago, almost inaccessible for visitors.

Experience an authentic cultural adventure while trekking in incredible mountain scenery in one of the most remote corners of Europe.

Following old shepherd paths and footways across the “Cursed Mountains”, the trail winds through high alpine mountains up to 2,300 metres above sea level.  Hike through the green valleys to crystal-clear mountain lakes, waterfalls, rivers and remote picturesque mountain villages.

3e Adventure Travel have been organising cross border tours in this region since 2008.  Experienced guides will give you an insight into the mountain culture in this hidden corner of Europe.

Group departures (min. 6 pax) running in June and September 2014.  At other times this trek can be tailor made.
